This is a well-made, very strong pot, somewhat like the old pots used to be. It's heavy, but that's because the structure is well-made.I love this item and look forward to using it.

The pot is seasoned (after burning in oil, salt and peelings). It doesn't burn the meat and is great waiting for soup or ramen. Ideal for a large batch of soup, etc.
We'll see how long it will last. Quality and workmanship a big plus.
