This thing is amazing! And yes, it does work, there's science behind it: Chromium ions on the surface of the stainless steel will react with the sulphur compounds that cause the smell of onions, garlic and fish and remove these compounds or render them into an odourless form. You can basically rub your hands against any stainless steel surface but this little thing is so convenient and well worth having in your kitchen!
