Exactly what I was expecting. The clockface is very nice looking, the second hand moves continually (no ticking) which is perfect for hanging it in the bedroom. There is no lock, and the back is not extremely sturdy plastic. However once attached to the wall the entire thing is nice and solid! I absolutely recommend this for small valuables.
