Amusing! It is not absorbent but (so far) easy to clean. The material is a bit stiff and because of the way of packaging there are streaks/creases in it that are not really easy to remove so far.

Great item. Hides a scratched work surface nicely. It's sort of spongey...a bit like the blue & pink waffle cloths you get in packs of 2 at supermarkets? Thinner though.
