Very light tea strainer. I initially thought it was plastic. I have no idea if it's stainless steel, but it's super easy to clean and holds everything together well, even with small amounts of tea. Recommended for purchase.

The brewers are great, carefully made. The only minor comment I have is that the lids don't fit the strainer very well, but it doesn't interfere with brewing tea in any way. Recommend
