Introducing the EOEXBY 720W MPPT Solar Controller, a 25A charge regulator designed to optimize solar panel performance. Compatible with 12V/24V batteries, this controller features real-time tracking and adjustable settings for maximum efficiency. Hardwired for room electrical power supply, it does not include a battery and accepts input from 18V to 80V.
Solar controller with MPPT technology, capable of handling up to 720W and 25A, suitable for charging 12V and 24V lithium, lead-acid, and gel batteries. It features real-time tracking and adjustable USB output, with an input range of 18V to 80V.Please ensure that the solar panel voltage is higher than the battery voltage when using this buck controller for charging. For instance, when charging a 12V battery, the solar panel voltage should exceed the battery voltage. You can use a solar panel with Vmp 18V~Voc 80V. Similarly, when charging a 24V battery, the solar panel voltage should be higher than the battery voltage. You can use a solar panel with Vmp 36V~Voc 80V.Characteristics of the item:MPPT technology, which stands for maximum power point tracking, can reach a charging efficiency of up to 98%, effectively utilizing solar power. Various safety measures are in place, such as protection against overcharging, overcurrent (up to 25A), reverse current, short circuits, and temperature fluctuations, guaranteeing a secure and steady system operation.Adjust the charging voltage by using the plus and minus buttons, which is compatible with different types of batteries like lead-acid, lithium iron phosphate, and lithium batteries. The device also features smart solar irradiance tracking to optimize charging efficiency through MPPT technology. A LED digital display provides real-time information on photovoltaic panel current, power output, and battery voltage, allowing users to monitor the system status easily.Smart fan cooling system: The fan activates when the temperature exceeds 38°C and deactivates when it drops below 32°C, improving performance and saving energy.Specifications of the itemThe solar controller named MPPT Step-Down is designed to handle input voltages ranging from 18V to 80V and provide output voltages of 12V or 24V. It can deliver a maximum current of 25A and has a rated power of 375W for 12V and 720W for 24V. Additionally, it features a USB output with a maximum of 5V2A and is compatible with Lead-acid, Lithium, Lifepo4, and Gel batteries. The controller is compact with dimensions of 137*81*30(mm) and weighs 260 grams. It boasts a high conversion efficiency of 98% and is constructed with a shell made of magnesium aluminum alloy. The controller can operate within a temperature range of -20℃ to 60℃.List of items included: 1 Solar Step Down controller, 2 30A Fuses, 1 User ManualIt is important to prioritize safety when using the product, especially in relation to energy. Please adhere to the following safety guidelines: The battery pack contains a significant amount of energy. Take precautions to prevent short circuits in the battery pack. We suggest incorporating suitable slow-blow fuses into the circuit to guarantee the secure use of the rated current.Battery packs release gases that can catch fire. Store battery packs in areas with good ventilation, away from open flames. Avoid short circuits in wires and terminals, as they may produce voltages and currents double the battery pack's rated values. Use insulated tools at all times. Keep battery packs and controllers out of reach of children for safety reasons.Adhere to the safety guidelines provided by the battery pack manufacturer to guarantee proper use of the product. When setting up this controller, refrain from mounting it directly on metal structures to reduce the risk of electromagnetic interference. The device is designed to handle solar panel inputs between 18V and 80V, and it can reduce the battery pack's output voltage to a range of 12V to 30V. The battery pack may consist of open or sealed lead-acid batteries, as well as lithium iron phosphate and lithium batteries. When connected correctly, the system will automatically activate in the presence of sunlight. The LED digital display will illuminate, indicating that the system has started.Following activation, the LED screen displays the current, power, and voltage of the solar panel. Once the charging current reaches 0.0A, it indicates that the battery is fully charged, and the charging process ceases. In case of abnormal system operation, simply press and then release the 'Reset' button to allow the system to reset and restart automatically.Adjusting the Charging Voltage for the Battery PackHold down the '+' and '-' buttons at the same time for 3 seconds to adjust the charging voltage. Press and hold the '+' button for 3 seconds to set the constant current charging. Press and hold the '-' button for 3 seconds to configure the load discharge protection. A quick press of the '-' button can switch the load output on or off. Once the parameter settings are done, the system will save and exit the settings automatically after 10 seconds.Recommendations for using the product:Make sure the photovoltaic panel connected to the 12V battery has a working voltage (VMP) between 18V and an open-circuit voltage (VOC) of 80V to prevent controller overload. Likewise, the photovoltaic panel connected to the 24V battery should have a working voltage (VMP) ranging from 36V to an open-circuit voltage (VOC) of 80V.Make sure to carefully check the specifications on the rear side of the solar panel before connecting it, as they usually include a working voltage of 18V and an open-circuit voltage of 22V, as well as a working voltage of 36V and an open-circuit voltage of 44V.Make sure to place the controller in a location with good airflow to prevent overheating during use. It is advisable to insert a switch between the battery pack and controller when connecting them to guarantee safety. It is crucial to fully charge the battery pack on a regular basis to avoid damaging the battery, so charging it at least once a month is necessary.By following the instructions provided, you will be able to operate our MPPT solar Step-Down controller correctly and safely.
