Perhaps the cast iron one cooks better than the aluminum one
but the more I use it the more I like it, the pancakes and eggs are made very well, it heats up right away and cleans very well, I'm happy

Nothing sticks or burns.
If the red stripe turns white, the pan is hot. 😉
Cleaning is child's play. With the kitchen stuff over it-done! Nothing can be said about longevity yet.
