Very convenient opener. It's not hard to use at all, I can't say how long it will last, but so far I like it. The edges are even, the top can be used as a lid if there are leftovers in the jar

pleased with product, clever little gadget, top item works well,also perfect for someone with arthritis in thier hands,and when the opener has finished the tin makes a small pop noise,and like magic there r no rough edges on either the tin or the lid
