Unfortunately, they smell very strongly of varnish. I'll put them in the dishwasher and see if that helps with the smell. But they are very nicely made. They are the size of coffee spoons.

I'm not as happy with the shipping company...They left the package under the door, which I don't appreciate since I have dogs and it's been raining quite a bit here today. I'm not at all happy with the way the shipping company handled this.
