I love this item!! I would say that the colour is nearer medium grey than light grey.....maybe light-medium. My chair is very big with very wide arms and I was doubtful as to whether these covers would fit. However, with a bit of tugging I managed to get the arm pieces on and the rest was easy. (maybe I should mention that I'm a 4ft 10 ins(148 cms) tall, 80-year old woman). I fully expected to have to smooth out the creases every time someone had been sitting in the chair, but it's not necessary. I had no idea that "loose covers" could be this good.
