The microwave covers fit perfectly. The large one fits on my dinner plate and the small one fits on my cake plate. There is even a turning disc for the holes. This allows you to turn the holes so that the hot air can escape from the heated food.

On the other hand, I'm not the one who uses it, I gave it to a friend, obviously I think she's delighted to be able to have these utensils at home.
