Make sure to verify the model number before buying, as this sealing ring is designed specifically for the Dyson V10 SV12 vacuum cleaner and may not fit other models. The ring has a diameter of 11.5 cm/4.52 inches.
As time goes by, the seal on the upper part of the dust collection bin wears out and becomes loose, rendering the bin unusable. The seal eventually breaks off, making it impossible to attach. To enhance your vacuum cleaner's performance, make sure to replace the seal on the dust bin periodically with a new one.
Match up the screw holes on the seal ring with those on the dustbin drum, attach the seal ring securely, and use a screwdriver to fasten the screws for a successful setup. Swapping out the seal ring on a new wheelie bin can be done in just 3 minutes, and we provide a T8 universal screwdriver as well.
A high-quality plastic frame and durable rubber are used to create the sealing ring, ensuring long-lasting performance and preventing the escape of dust, dirt, food residues, and pet hair, thereby enhancing the efficiency of the machine.
The screws are not included in the top mounting seal of the dust collection container, so please keep them safe after removal. When inserting the screw, make sure to tighten it until there is no space left. Avoid forcing the screw in, as it could harm the inner hole of the seal.
